James is one of the country’s leading experts in operational Human Resources and Employee Engagement and has integrated behavioural science into his ground breaking approaches. As the creator of the E3 engagement model, he is leading a step-change in how employers get the most from their employees through the exemplary delivery of HR strategies.

With 20 years' operational HR experience at a senior level, he not only delivers many of our services, but also leads the excellent team here at E3i Ltd HQ.  
Darren Broad

Darren Broad

Darren delivers corporate training, as a consultant, delivering performance programmes and leadership and management programmes. He has presented and delivered training programmes globally in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Germany, France, Denmark and Lithuania working for a variety of different industries.

Building on his business coaching experience, Darren has coached directors through to front line sales staff, supporting growth and development with a focus on performance improvement. 

Darren lives in Bournemouth and is married with four children. He competes in triathlons and has completed four Ironman distance events and has just started training in CrossFit!
Vernon Bryce

His clients come from across the entire business or the talent life cycle; wherever there is strategic, talent, engagement and performance opportunity, particularly in fast growth enterprises or business divisions.
Vernon is a KPMG-trained executive coach. He’s led change, leadership, assessment and development consulting practices, notably Kenexa Europe & Middle East now known as IBM Smarter Workforces. 

He is a Gallup-trained Talent Profiler and a PA trained management consultant in manufacturing operations, HR and quality. He is also an ex Bristol Business School MBA, with a postgrad HR diploma and CIPD tutor.
Oliver Parker

Karen has significant experience of working at director level in multi-site organisations at both operational and strategic levels in both retail and transport sectors. With extensive involvement leading and managing change, she has a proven track record of designing and embedding HR strategy, frameworks and processes in line with overall business objectives. With an exceptional understanding of HR policy, resourcing, organisational culture, change management and employee engagement, Karen is available to support a wide range of HR activities.
She has previously been a statutory director of multiple limited companies and a trusted advisor to many a business leader.
Karen lives in Leicester with her husband and daughter. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family, walking the dog, and baking (and eating) cakes.
Emma Howells

Emma is a behavioural change specialist with over 20 years of experience in supporting people to improve their lifestyle and maximise their performance.

With a diverse background and work experience in sport, health and education, Emma is renowned for her movement interventions and holistic approach to change, for which she has earned the title, “Movement Maestro.”

Emma is a qualified Health Promotion Practitioner, Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner and a Coach. She holds a range of teaching qualifications and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mentoring and Entrepreneurship.

Julian’s career has seen him at the leading edge of L and D and HR for over 20 years, achieving world-class results. 

It is his life experiences, including his recovery from life changing neurological damage that have given him the passion to realise the potential in all employees.  

Julian specialises in core HR services and is one of the country's leading experts in diversity and inclusion. 

Julian heads our delivery of HR and people interventions such as employee handbooks, resourcing and policy reviews.

Geoff Poole

Dr. Geoff Poole
Statistics and Research

Geoff has studied and worked in scientific disciplines for over 40 years. Throughout his career, Geoff developed his research skills and knowledge, achieving both an MSc and a doctorate in biomedical science. 

As a practising scientist, an author and co-author of many scientific publications, Geoff has had to incorporate rigorous statistical methods into everyday work, and is critical of the way that statistical data are being misused in many areas. 

He is a specialist in the practical applications of statistics including the use of specialist software, which he used as part of his doctoral studies.

Geoff’s scientific background has not prevented him from having a grounded view of organisations and the essential contribution that employees make. 
As a senior manager and director, he has driven through many significant organisational changes, realising that these would not have been possible without involving staff at all levels, and winning the trust of board members. 
Oliver Parker

Toby Townrow
Facilitator and Executive Coach

Toby is a passionate, experienced and enthusiastic facilitator and executive coach. He has worked for major corporations throughout his 18-year career in management, including Unilever, NTL and Dixons Stores Group. He has been facilitating learning and development workshops throughout his entire career. Toby is internationally experienced, having worked extensively across the Middle East.

Toby’s specialities include Leadership and Management, Sales, Presentation Skills and Team Building. Toby also has experience in working with many psychometrics, including MBTI, ILM72, iResilience and Thomas International (DISC).


Toby has also been coaching individuals for 11 years, including a 9-year stint as a Sales Coach for Unilever and, since 2014, as an independent business coach, coaching at various organisational levels right up to senior management.
Gregg Willis

Gregg Willis
Creativity and Design 

Gregg has been working within the creative industries for the last 4 years, specialising in animation and design. 

He is responsible for our cutting edge reports, innovative design and superb animations, helping our clients really get under the skin of their E3 insight research.

Throughout his career, Gregg has developed a number of skills from website design, video editing to hand drawn 2D animation being skilled in a number of softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, Flash, After Effects and Celaction. 

Gregg has worked with companies such as the BBC, Cbeebies, Channel 5, S4C, Netflix, Cartoonito and on Raymond Briggs' Ethel and Ernest.
